# Parallel Tasking Library (PTL)

## Explicit Thread-Pool
|
|
|
|
Using `PTL::TaskRunManager` is not necessary with task-groups.
|
|
You can create new thread-pools directly and pass them to task-groups:
|
|
|
|

// create a new thread-pool explicitly
|
|
PTL::ThreadPool tp(4);
|
|
|
|
// combines results
|
|
